It undertakes development of land after the same is acquired by the Govt. of Haryana through its Urban Estates department for specific land uses, like residential, Commercial and Industrial etc. in accordance with the provisions of the Development Plans of a particular area.

Group Housing Scheme

 

In order to ensure optimum utilisation of scarce urban land, and for creating greater housing stock, HUDA since 1983, has introduced the concept of Group Housing in its major Urban Estates. Through increased FAR and multi storeyed construction , whereas on one hand affordable houses become a reality , on the other hand a sense of community living is inculcated. So far HUDA has allotted about 800 acres land to registered Co-operative Group Housing Societies, Welfare Housing Organisations and Govt. Departments for their rental housing.;
